Terms and Conditions

Myselfiemedia.com (herein referred to as MSM)

  1. Please ensure that you have obtained permission from your venue provider to use a photo booth, and if you require the upload facility to social media sites that the venue has suitable access speed to a Wifi connection. We can make available a copy of our public liability insurance, if required.
  2. Please ensure that there is access to a plug socket, within three to ten metres of the display area, notwithstanding any heavy traffic walk ways which may involve a trip hazard.
  3. Please ensure that there is sufficient space to accommodate the mirror photo booth, ideally 3 x 3 metres and not near a bar or dance floor location.
  4. The mirror photo booth is for INDOOR use only, however it could be used in a marquee provided it is water tight and has a solid floor with access to a compatible electric power supply. Unsuitable locations may preclude the setup of this facility.
  5. Please inform us of any circumstances which may have restricted access, this also includes restricted parking and possible subsequent charges relating to the venue, thus making the setting up more demanding, including stairs and long distances from the unloading area.
  6. Your booking will only be confirmed on acknowledgement by us (by letter or e-mail), on receipt of your booking confirmation and deposit.
  7. On receiving a provisional order, either verbally or by e-mail, regardless of whether a booking form has been received or deposit paid, it will have been deemed that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by our terms and conditions of hire in full.
  8. In the event that our operatives are not ready to commence at the agreed time due to our fault, then we will operate the agreed hire period by extending the finishing time of the hire (venue permitting). On the occasion that the hire does not start at the agreed time, as setup has been delayed (due to any unforeseen circumstances outside our control), the hire will still end at the agreed time on the booking form. On the occasion that we have set up in time, but hire does not commence at the agreed time, due to overrunning of previous activities by you or the venue, the hire will finish at the agreed time.
  9. Myselfiemedia.com cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen circumstances that may prevent us from attending your event at the agreed time; these may include, but are not limited to, severe weather conditions, traffic delays, vehicle breakdown, illness or technical faults/failure. In these events where by we cannot attend/fulfil the hire agreement due to events beyond our control, Myselfiemedia.com will contact you or the venue as soon as possible. In these circumstances our liability shall be limited to a full refund of all monies paid, appertaining to the specific hire contract.
  10. Contracts: All hires are subject to a deposit of at least £100.00 (which is non-refundable). The remaining balance is to be paid and cleared, no later than 14 days prior to the date of the event. Advertised prices are subject to change without notice. However, once a deposit is received we will guarantee the price quoted without levying a surcharge if our costs have increased. If subsequently you add additional services, then the new price will be charged for the additional service/services as a separate invoice. In the event that additional services are required during the hire period, then payment must be made to the operator, before the services are provided. Receipts may be e-mailed after the event, if time is limited during the hire agreement.
  11. Cancellation: Cancellation after deposit received – deposit non-refundable. Cancellation within two weeks prior to event and after full payment received- 50% non-refundable.
  12. Any change of date request must be made in writing. If we have the new date available the booking will be transferred. If the new date is not available the original booking/date will be deemed to have been cancelled and will be treated as a cancelled booking.
  13. Equipment: Myselfiemedia.com reserves the right to substitute hired equipment of a similar type/value without notice, in the event of previous damage/loss or technical failure.
  14. The client is responsible for ensuring suitable security and crowd control measures are in place prior to the start of the hire.
  15. Myselfiemedia.com reserve the right to cease operation and remove hired equipment from site if at any time a representative of the company feels that the guests or clients conduct endangers the safety of the guests, clients, the operatives, or the safety of the hired equipment. In such cases no refund will be given and the full contracted fees will be due to the company.
  16. Myselfiemedia.com reserves the right to refuse guests usage of the facility, if our operative feels that the guest’s behaviour is unruly and damage to the equipment is likely to take place.
  17. In any circumstances that our operatives feel a need to terminate the hire, due to reasons stated above, we will always speak to the host/hostess first to try and resolve the matter before terminating the hire agreement.
  18. Liability of hire; Insurance: the client agrees to cover the company for any damage or theft of Myselfiemedia.com equipment whilst on hire. In addition the company accepts no liability for any damage or loss of personal property and any other injury arising from the use of the hired equipment or in the vicinity of the hired equipment.
  19. Myselfiemedia.com may use any of the photographs from your event, for marketing and advertising online or by post. By using the facilities, this would confirm that you and your guests agree and permission has been granted to do so by yourselves and your guests, unless guests register a confidentially request with the operative before use of the equipment. Hiring Myselfiemedia.com services means that you agree to all the terms and conditions.
  20. We reserve the right to cancel your booking due to operational reasons at any time before the hire date. Should this occur we will contact you in writing and refund your deposit/payment.
